🚨 Shiloh Trial Day 1 Update 🚨

Jury selection began today. Jurors filled out a questionnaire, and several were questioned individually about their answers, mainly what they had seen or heard about the case and where they got that information.

Quick notes from the questioning:
Out of 16+ prospective jurors, almost all mentioned Facebook, a couple said television/IG/TikTok, and only one said “Twitter.”

Facebook remains the dominant source for news and information for most people. TikTok and Instagram each got a couple of mentions, but the name “X” wasn’t brought up even once.

A handful of prospective jurors openly admitted they could not be fair and impartial. Surprisingly, the judge didn’t strike many of them from the pool even after they repeated it over and over.

The jury has not been selected yet; that process should wrap up tomorrow.
