Pero fue más lejos: las acostumbró a participar desnudas en procesiones y a danzar y cantar sin ropa en ciertos festivales, delante de los jóvenes. Plutarco escribió: “No había nada vergonzoso en esta desnudez… generaba en ellas hábitos de sencillez y un ardiente deseo de salud y belleza del cuerpo.” Mientras en Atenas las mujeres vivían recluidas, en Esparta el cuerpo libre y fuerte era un valor. ¿Te imaginas cómo sería vivir en una sociedad donde la desnudez se veía como virtud y no como tabú?
