@celispj@alexanderhupfer@judgeme Jumping on this as I have a few apps that integrate with Klaviyo - one of the things they got right was it's extremely easy to push activity and arbitrary data for events in - we often define a bunch of custom events for our apps that can trigger flows, and push associated data
@thekevingeary@RapidLightnings Half of the people you wanted to meet either cannot or will not go due to the actions of the BDSMFL. I used to attend every WordCamp in my country, run local meetups.. why would I do free work for Matt now? exposing that the foundation === matt just removes all motivation.
@ianmisner #4 is the only valid point, and there are far better tools to reach for than woo if that is what you need.
The rest can be debunked easily unless massive other caveats are attached. Agency or dev-led scenarios vs merchant-led are wildly different too.
@addyosmani@simonw@GeminiApp Hey @addyosmani, appreciate the reply - it's a gif, showing me switching to Pro.. all of these were on pro.
For the record I did my own testing, and using 3.1pro in AI studio I got significantly better results. @GeminiApp is clearly a neutered version of 3.1 even on pro..
@addyosmani@simonw Model I'm using for proof. So what's the go? much more detailed prompts needed? I know AI is non-deteministic but this drastic cliff in quality is a bit much @GeminiApp
@addyosmani Final try, the quintessential @simonw example and the one you posted..
Prompt: Generate an animated SVG of a pelican riding a bicycle. This is the one most likely to be specifically trained for as it's become a bit of a benchmark..
@joel_reeds@gilgNYC@liam_at_shopify@fnthawar Second this - Shopify is opening up so many new possibilities with metafields etc, but custom rate calculation / Carrier Service is left out in the cold 🥶
Introducing Nightwatch: application monitoring & logging obsessively optimized for Laravel.
Don’t sleep on improving your monitoring and join the waitlist (launch is Q1 2025)

@rmccue Our business relies on it, and I’m just astounded how it gets worse and worse every release.. Nothing new has been added as an improvement and everything is just harder or clunkier. Moving edit history out of desktop and browser apps was a huge blow..
@brad_frost I use both a Dell Ultrasharp U2723QE or a Apple Studio Display, both are single cables USB-C / Thunderbolt cables going to the laptop and you can plug things into the monitor. External docks seems to be a mess at the moment.
@aaronmeder@kinsta@Cloudflare Dm's should be open now! Most of our issues are resolved, but forcing customers onto a broken product leaves a real sour taste in our mouths.
@FronterHQ FYI anyone who comes across this - App broken since early 2021, no way to cancel subscriptions once you're signed up. SCAM, tried reporting to @stripe / @StripeSupport but they don't care / can't stop the charges.
@loukmannacik We signed up for https://t.co/I6YFMI0wBk and the app has been broken for over 6 months. No way to remove our billing details or cancel, you've disabled intercom. Please allow us to stop being billed, we'll be doing chargebacks
Overall, we’ve put plans to develop any further statamic sites on hold for probably a year to indefinitely. We are considering rebuilding the site in another CMS at our own cost for the long term relationship with the client and our devs ability to maintain it.
@jackmcdade@statamic writing a thread as one reply isn’t enough. We built a site in statamic. I advocated for it. We’ve almost lost the client due to frustrations with the cms. None of the things I’m mentioning here are “new” issues.
In follow up to that, we’ve had new bugs with the editor on lots of new releases - the current testing here is not enough. The editor is your foundation of trust with the client, we devs can hack around mountains of misc BS but if the editor is buggy the client becomes scared.
