Why is my school playing a video of my dad pointing out my flaws?
Well, at @Alphaschool they did this to teach me how to receive critical feedback in front of peers.
Our goal was to keep our heart rate at our baseline and if our heart rate went up by 10% we failed.
I failed but would you pass?
Building my own AI bodybuilding coach 🤖
It’ll review workouts through the methods of Charles Glass, Chris Bumstead, and Dorian Yates. In a few days, I’m giving it my 3-day program to score out of 10, explain every weakness, and improve it.
Will my program pass? 👀
It’s just a huge pump. Blood is rushing into the chest. Not instantly dangerous, but training every set to failure like that isn’t smarter, it’s riskier. You don’t grow more from looking that red. You just recover worse and raise the chance of a strain. Stop 1 or 2 reps before failure and let the muscle actually rebuild.
And People say the gym community is Toxic.
I met this dude Andrew. We both ended up at the same machine. He was super chill, ended up giving me solid tips while we did our sets. Straight up good dude.
That’s the real gym culture right there.
Tag your Andrew.
My school is literally having us listen to our parents give us harsh feedback while wearing a heart-rate monitor 😭
They’re trying to shape us into young entrepreneurs who can handle criticism, pressure, and uncomfortable situations without folding.
Like what other school has you doing this??
@Alphaschool
Man you look shredded, the leanness is legit after 20 weeks. But you’re saying you’re flat and tired — that’s the direct signal your body’s done with the cut.
I’d call it here, reverse diet smart, and come back stronger instead of pushing for that last 2-3%. You’ve already won this one.
Love the Coco Gauff angle — tying elite performance to behavioral science is a smart way to make fitness content actually useful instead of just motivational fluff.
The hook is strong, but leaving the principle unnamed turns this into a guessing game instead of a teaching moment.
Most people already know ‘try harder’ doesn’t work; naming the actual science (and how to apply it in the gym) would make the post 10x more valuable.
What’s the principle you’re referring to?
@Jake_Motivation This hits different when you’ve been that person who goes all-in for 3 weeks then ghosts the gym for a month 😂
Consistency really does beat intensity every time.
Just survived frostbite on the climb up Mount Everest.
Okay… a HBS simulation with @alphaschool. But I scored better than 99% of Harvard students as a 15 y/o.
Age is just a number; apparently so is a HBS GPA.
So I just had my first day of school. What we’re starting with is a crash course in life skills. But I still wasn’t expecting this…
My school is throwing me in the woods with a bag of rice…
Water’s two miles away and packed with alligators
In these circumstances they think we can make it with some rice and a tarp???
This will be interesting.
I’ll try to keep y’all posted.
Pray for me 🙏
