It shouldn’t even be a question which FA the Knicks should prioritize bringing back. Mitch’s defensive presence and elite rebounding is invaluable and much harder to replace than Shamet’s 3&D skills. Shamet was also signed to a vet min deal, he’s great but def replaceable
I'm absolutely convinced that Knicks fans would rather have beaten the Pacers in the first round than won a championship without facing us. The trauma runs that deep.
@BrilliantHoops@KnicksCentral They didn’t decide to stop salary lmao they tried to retain Turner and they thought he was coming back but then he surprised them and chose to go to Milwaukee. idk why you’re downplaying the Knicks run, dominated 3 healthy teams and took down a Western conf juggernaut to win it
@BrilliantHoops@KnicksCentral I disagree. I think you’re underestimating how big of a piece Myles Turner was. He stretched the floor and allowed them to play 5 out which was important for their up-tempo fast play style. I think they would’ve taken a step back without him, and Zubac isn’t that same kind of big
@BrilliantHoops@KnicksCentral Boston was still one of the best teams in the league and Tatum was back for the playoffs. And now they might break up their championship duo so their team could be worse this yr. Indy had a nice playoff run but they’re not gonna just go back to being contenders cause Hali is back
