@raylehmann But where you draw the central city will affect what sort of communities and densities are included. Like LA draws a much larger central city than a Boston
@jmhorp I live in Boston and my family on one side is from Greece. They village they trace my family from had a reported average household income of 70,000 euros in 2010 per BBC, Boston’s was ~50,000 USD. That is def the exception though
@WelcomeToDot It also affects water run off a lot. And enough of it in an area can contribute to flooding. Larger projects can calculate the amount of water the ground was taking before and make plans better to offset. (Like keep track of each cut down, flood ponds, etc)
