marriage only benefits a woman when her partner is genuinely able to contribute, support, and share the load. otherwise, she's just taking on extra responsibilities she was already handling by herself.
My husband works at a hospital and everyday he needs to wake up early to work. He keeps two alarms at 4:25 and 4:30 a.m.. I asked him why keep them so close?.. He just said it's nothing.
But every morning I notice when the first alarm goes off.. he snuggles close to me, hugs me tight & cuddles until the second alarm rings..
That's when I realised those 5 mins were for me.. even when there's a rush he spares 5 mins to show his love towards me.. It made me tear up a little
"I feel grateful to have a man like him."
It should come NATURALLY for a man to want to have fun with you, take you out, feed you, do nice things for you, and compliment you.
You should never have to teach someone to do that.
Happy for her but I am so glad more and more people are calling out how we talk about our own people. Like what about him says hood or indicates that he is a YN? His HAIR??? Who do y’all sound like?
