रेलवे ने आजकल एक चीज़ बहुत गज़ब कर रखी है किसी भी ट्रेन का आखिरी या आखिरी दूसरे स्टेशन की यात्रा का समय सामान्य लगने वाले टाइमिंग से बढ़ा के रखते हैं और ट्रेन ज्यादातर समय लेट होते हुए भी वहां से आखिरी स्टेशन तक समय से या समय के पहले पहुंच जा रही है फिर इसको उपलब्धि के तौर पर लिया जाता है।

No minister dares to function without his approval, they just retweet him the entire day. Some of them aren't even aware about their responsibilities.

But still here you are wondering why people question Modi when things go wrong.

Another reminder of how fragile stability is in the private sector. One secures employment, income begins to flow, long-term plans take shape, home, car, loans, EMIs. And then, a single decision by the corporate to “rationalize” or “downsize,” and everything collapses overnight.

Unless you quickly re-enter the job market, fixed liabilities don’t pause; they compound stress and can upend an otherwise steady life.

While you earn, you must pay taxes. The moment you lose your job, you’re on your own. In fact, you even have to pay tax on the severance also.

Maybe it’s time to introduce reforms, such as mandating severance pay ranging from three months to one year based on an employee’s tenure, as is the norm in the West; allowing EMI pauses for a 3-6 months; and providing a time-bound monthly allowance from the govt for involuntary job losses.

If Ladla/Ladlis can get free money, free ration, free water, and electricity, without paying any income tax, why not support a worker who has been paying taxes and contributing?

Indian Tourism Isn't Dying. It's Already Dead. Here's Why.

Thailand: 35 million tourists in 2024.
India: 9.66 million tourists in 2024.

A small nation, Thailand received 3.6 times more tourists than India.

India has everything: beaches, mountains, deserts, backwaters, and all the seasons.

Yet, we are behind.

Do you know Singapore, a city-state, gets more tourists than India?
Shocking, Isn't it?

Our bad reputation is costing us too much.
- Frauds and cheating.
- Taxi mafia in tourist places.
- No proper city infrastructure.

And the biggest reason is the Lack of Civic sense.

India is infamous for being one of the most unhygienic countries all across the world.

Is it going to change or not?
I don't see a much clearer picture.

2003 - Satyendra Dubey, IIT Kanpur grad, wrote to PM Vajpayee exposing corruption in the Golden Quadrilateral project. Begged to keep his name secret. Shot dead on his 30th birthday.

2004 - Manjunath Shanmugam, IIM Lucknow grad, sealed a petrol pump selling adulterated fuel under PM Manmohan Singh’s govt. 6 bullets. Dead at 27.

2005 - Narendra Kumar, IPS officer, seized illegal mining trucks in MP under CM Shivraj Chouhan. Crushed under a tractor. Dead at 30. His IAS wife was pregnant.

After these deaths, Parliament passed the Whistleblower Protection Act in 2014.

It has NEVER been activated. 12 years. Not a single day.

PM Modi’s govt said it needs amendments. Then introduced amendments in 2015 that actually gutted the law, making it illegal to expose corruption if it touches the Official Secrets Act. That bill failed and lapsed. Govt said okay, original Act is fine then. Still didn’t activate it.

100+ RTI activists killed since 2014. No party is innocent.

Modi’s govt has sat on the protection law for a decade.

Today, the #BJP is in such a strong position that almost anyone they choose is likely to become a winning candidate. In such a scenario, a truly ethical and visionary leadership could have transformed the country at an unprecedented scale; by putting criminals behind bars, cleansing the system, and bringing in new faces with fresh energy to run the nation.

The brand is powerful enough that votes would still come, even if tough and uncomfortable decisions were taken. Yet, despite having this rare opportunity, the party continues to field candidates with criminal backgrounds and questionable ethics.

I don’t believe any future government will enjoy such a decisive majority for the next two to three decades; such transformative reforms are only possible when a government has both numbers and public trust, something the BJP clearly had and still largely has today. Unfortunately, that opportunity is being squandered.

What was promised in 2014 is slowly fading away, and instead, we are witnessing an increase in unethical and corrupt practices across departments. This makes the overall situation deeply disappointing and, frankly, hopeless

It was responsibility of both the govt and the BCCI to ensure India does not play Pakistan in Asia Cup. They failed.

Now the choice is yours: either shrug it off with “if they don’t care, why should I” and watch, or refuse to watch and make a statement.

I hope you choose the latter. Don’t watch, neither on TV, nor online, nor through apps. Don’t even engage when cricket accounts post live scores or hype the match as it gets “interesting.”

Refusing to engage is a small act for each of us, but together it becomes a powerful statement that neither the govt nor the BCCI can ignore. Let silence be the rebellion.

राजस्थान के झालावाड़ ज़िले में 25 जुलाई को एक सरकारी स्कूल की इमारत ढह गई थी. इस हादसे में सात बच्चों की मौत हो गई और करीब 21 बच्चे घायल हुए थे. हादसे के बाद बच्चों की पढ़ाई ठप हो गई और गांव वाले असमंजस में थे कि शिक्षा कैसे जारी रहेगी. तभी मदद बनकर सामने आए गांव के ही आदिवासी मोर सिंह भील, जिन्होंने अपने दो कमरे के मकान को स्कूल को सौंप दिया और ख़ुद अपने आठ सदस्यों के परिवार के साथ झोपड़ी में रहने लगे.
