Being a child means having no responsibilities and being cared for without having to ask for it. Personally, I never felt loved or prioritised as a child so part of me wants to look frail and vulnerable because I associate that with being worried about and treated gently

I don’t like the whole “anorexia makes you infertile” because it encourages the idea that the most valuable thing to women is to be a mother. Nobody talks about the brain fog & other neurological issues, osteoporosis, even bradycardia. It’s always about babies.
