@doom0804 that is NOT what op said, op merely stated that if one likes cna and hates jinx for the rape only, then one is being hypocritical. no one is “pressuring” anyone to like anything.

I took a while to write about today’s chapter because a lot happened, and I didn’t want to speak carelessly.
I also want to talk about Juheon because I’ve seen a lot of hate toward him lately
I’m going to be honest: I didn’t like what happened. I didn’t want Juheon and Dohu to have this intimate encounter in this way.
Visually, you can tell the author put a lot of effort into it, but emotionally, it didn’t make me feel excitement or happiness. If anything, it made me sad. I didn’t feel like I was watching a beautiful moment between them, but rather a painful moment between two deeply hurt people.
And I think there is something VERY important that we cannot ignore if we want to understand this chapter: Juheon’s emotional state before Dohu arrived.
Hours earlier, Juheon had an argument with his aunt. And that is not a small detail.
Throughout the story, we’ve been shown that Juheon has grown up surrounded by lies, abandonment, manipulation, and disappointment since he was very young. His mother abandoned him, his aunt lied to and manipulated him, and he has constantly had to deal with people breaking his trust.
So when Dohu deceived him in the past, it was not something small for Juheon. Because he truly trusted him. And for someone with such deep wounds related to abandonment and betrayal, something like that hits much harder.
Hours before this encounter, Juheon was already reliving all of that. The pain, the betrayal, the abandonment, the manipulation, his childhood, his teenage years, and everything he has had to carry emotionally.
Even visually, the author showed us something very powerful: Juheon in an extremely vulnerable position, reflecting not only the pain of the present, but also the pain of the child and teenager he once was.
And on top of that, Juheon was not doing well physically either. He had recently suffered a work accident, had bruises, a fever, and was clearly exhausted.
Juheon was physically and emotionally broken.
And this is where Dohu comes in.
Because I think something many people are ignoring is that Dohu did not come with bad intentions. He came to bring Juheon medicine because he knows how stubborn he can be and was genuinely worried about him.
But here comes the biggest issue: Dohu arrived without truly understanding Juheon’s emotional state.
And not necessarily because he doesn’t care, but because Dohu clearly struggles with reading emotions and fully understanding what others are feeling. Yes, he has improved and little by little has learned to better recognize emotions like love, pain, and affection, but he is still someone who often struggles to fully interpret what is happening emotionally in front of him.
So I feel like what we are seeing here is a terrible emotional collision between two hurt people.
On one side, Juheon, someone emotionally triggered by trauma, vulnerable, sick, exhausted, and reliving all of his wounds all over again.
And on the other side, Dohu, someone desperately trying to reconnect, repair things, and get closer, while also not fully understanding how emotionally shattered Juheon really is in that moment.
One desperately wants to get closer.
The other pushes away because he is emotionally overwhelmed and does not know how to process everything he is feeling.
And that is where everything starts falling apart in the worst possible way.
I’m not saying I liked what happened. I didn’t. It made me uncomfortable. And I also don’t think that means we should ignore the uncomfortable or questionable aspects of the situation.
But honestly, reducing all of this to Juheon bad or Dohu bad feels way too simplistic.
Because, to me, this chapter is not about a villain and a perfect victim.
It is about two deeply hurt people, carrying trauma, miscommunication, emotional baggage, and completely opposite emotional needs, colliding at the worst possible moment.
Perhaps the most beautiful thing about Chase isn’t necessarily his fame or success, but the way he always strives to give the very best to his little family. Every day, he works to become a better husband and a better father ❤️🩹💓
