@willjohnsonbf1 Steve from Blue's Clues made me uncomfortable too man, like why are you always wearing that same striped green shirt and using small words when you talk
@LoudHausParty@Hikaru_Shidou_ Then we should treat each state/region as its own country and develop multiple systems of transit rather than just the one we tend to focus on. Cars definitely have their place. Our existing systems you mention in the east and west are still outdated, could use a lot of improving
@isthisbelvoir@Hikaru_Shidou_ Definitely no one size fits all solution, but when it comes to routine high density short distance movement, both forms of transport can help alleviate stress on the other. Mass transit moves more people for less space and energy, with hopefully only a marginal time difference.
@Toomuchritz@Hikaru_Shidou_ All true. Accuracy was sacrificed for the sake of hyperbole. All forms of transit should work to assist each other to make up for one's weaknesses with another's strength. Moving a large number of people a routine short distance should be comparable between a car and transit.
@MKULTRAPENIS@Hikaru_Shidou_ Sure, but a car can inherently only move so may people at once and takes up more physical space per person. When you look at a short commute for cars the people could often be moved the same distance for a marginal difference in time, less space, and much less energy.
@Goodnametaken@Hikaru_Shidou_ Japan actually has a mixture of both which tends to allow for each to alleviate stress on the other during peak times and make up for each other's gaps or weaknesses in coverage. Seems to be a pretty pragmatic and logical solution.
They say it’s “complicated”. But somehow the bombs always fall on the same people. Somehow the children who die always speak the same languages. Somehow history never runs out of ways to repeat itself.
Unrelated thought and I mean nothing by it, but, when the Israeli data center got hit and all the bot accounts died off, did the White House account also stop posting?
486 innocent lebanese ppl have been killed 83 of them were children and the bombings havent stopped. Over half a million ppl have been forcefully displaced. They are actively trying to ethnically cleanse. Guys speak up abt Lebanon. Pray for lebanon. And keep talking abt west asia
