Proud moment for Tulip Ivory, Sector 70, Gurugram! 🌱♻️
Delighted that our society has been recognised under #ProjectSORT (Segregation of waste for Recycling and Treatment) for promoting source segregation and responsible environmental practices.
The highlight: Zero wet waste leaves our society. Over 150Kgs of wet waste generated is processed within the society itself, reducing landfill burden and contributing to a cleaner, #GreenerGurugram.
This recognition belongs to every resident, housekeeping team member, and volunteer who believes that sustainability starts at home and practices waste segregation responsibly every day.
Thank you to the Swarn Lata Motherson Trust and @control_indian for encouraging community-led environmental action.

Encouraging to see how citizen participation and government-led initiatives can come together to improve our cities.
At Tulip Ivory, Sector 70, Gurugram, residents are contributing towards the upkeep of the green belt outside our society — supporting the vision of sustainable, well-maintained urban spaces.
What was once used by addicts and anti-law elements and stray animals is now being:
• Developed for rainwater recharge through bioswales and recharge pits
• Helping address long-standing flooding challenges in an area with limited drainage infrastructure
• Enhanced with plantation to improve green cover and air quality, while preserving existing trees
• Maintained to improve safety, cleanliness, and overall surroundings for humans and animals alike.
These efforts are aligned with the progressive initiatives and workshops by #GMDA & #MCG on rainwater harvesting and urban sustainability.
Importantly, this remains a collaborative model — public spaces continue under government ownership, with citizens supporting their upkeep and better utilisation.
Stronger partnerships between RWAs and authorities can go a long way in building cleaner, greener, and more resilient cities.
