It’s seems like My coaching career comes to an end after 1.5 years, during which we played 5 tournaments and secured 5 podium finishes, including a Junior World Cup bronze medal.
I have heard about coaches getting fired after bad performances.
But this is the first time I am experiencing being removed to make way for a foreign coach.
The Hockey India President stated that the chief coach of the senior men’s team prefers a foreign head coach for the junior team, believing it will help develop Indian hockey from the junior level through to the senior level. Hence, the continued preference for foreign coaches —
Can’t Indian coaches develop Indian hockey?
On 07-03-2026, during a meeting with the Hon’ble Sports Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, I was told, “Sreejesh, we need coaches like you to step up and lead our country as we prepare for 2036.”
However, Hockey India continues to place its trust in foreign coaches over Indian ones across all four teams.

Not every inspiring sporting story ends with a trophy. Over the last few days, Lakshya Sen has shown India what courage, resilience and belief truly look like. His run to another All England final, through extraordinary wins and immense physical pain, has been about far more than a result. He has reminded young India that greatness lies not only in winning, but in the honesty of effort, the dignity of the fight and the strength to keep believing. I am Proud of you, @lakshya_sen . Very, very proud.

#Telangana: Dog eating a dead body in hospital
A disturbing video has surfaced from the Jadcherla Government Area Hospital in Mahabubnagar district, showing stray dogs tearing at a body kept inside the mortuary, triggering outrage and official action.
According to preliminary information, the deceased, identified as Bhimesh from Nagasala village in Jadcherla mandal, had allegedly drowned in a pond. After the body was recovered, police shifted it to the government hospital for post-mortem. In the video that is now circulating, the body appears to have been left unattended inside the mortuary, where dogs entered and mauled it.
The footage has raised serious questions about mortuary management and basic safeguards in government hospitals. Sources indicated that the body was not placed properly on a stretcher and that refrigeration facilities were either unavailable or non-functional.
Reacting to the incident, Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha expressed anger and ordered an immediate inquiry. On his instructions, Medical Services Council Commissioner Dr Ajay Kumar visited the hospital and conducted a probe, gathering statements from the deceased’s family members, police, eyewitnesses, doctors and hospital staff.
Following the inquiry, the hospital superintendent Dr Chandrakala, duty RMO Dr Harinath, duty medical officer Munisha and mortuary supporting staff member Ravi Prakash were suspended for alleged negligence.
Commissioner Ajay Kumar stated that strict action would be taken to prevent such incidents from recurring.
