La voie Camillien-Houde sera verdie et plus sécuritaire pour tout le monde!

On amorce une véritable transformation du parc du Mont-Royal. La voie Camillien-Houde deviendra une grande promenade piétonne avec un accès protégé pour les cyclistes.

Grâce à ce réaménagement, on redonne le mont Royal à la population : il sera plus sécuritaire, plus vert et plus agréable que jamais.

L’accès au sommet sera toujours possible en voiture et en autobus par le chemin Remembrance. Les véhicules d’urgence pourront aussi intervenir sur l’ensemble du territoire du mont Royal.

De nouvelles haltes seront construites, ainsi qu’un nouveau belvédère panoramique au point le plus haut de Camillien-Houde.

Bref, dans quelques années, le mont Royal sera plus accessible pour tout le monde : les familles, les piétons, les cyclistes, les personnes à mobilité réduite et plus encore.

En prenant cette décision avec la communauté, on positionne Montréal comme une ville de calibre international en proposant une nouvelle expérience d’accueil, de visite et de découverte du mont Royal, notre montagne bien-aimée.
