@MichaelGus57@Beardown8675309@wakeupbarstool We’ll see. Nothing has been announced yet and there likely won’t be clarity anytime soon with the way this whole thing has gone. Either way it doesn’t change the fact that Hammond is an industrial wasteland.
@Beardown8675309@MichaelGus57@wakeupbarstool Well they never wanted to build around this undeveloped industrial wasteland. They only wanted to use the idea of it as leverage to push IL gov to approve the megaprojects bill
@DarthLordFelix@jon_greenberg That’s his point. People are too biased based on what’s convenient for them instead of what’s best for the team or the fanbase as a whole. Hammond is the worse case scenario for a large chunk of the fanbase because Hammond is a literal shithole with zero infrastructure
@Ken_d035@JakeTibbles11@Chicago_NFL Wrigley is a shithole and people love that stadium for the history. Can always travel to more modern and better amenity stadiums if you really want to
@JakeTibbles11@Chicago_NFL Of course I have, many times. Just tailgate, get drunk and have fun man. Enjoy the skyline and crowd energy. Better than building on a literal landfill in Hammond
