A historic milestone for Chitradurga! 💧

The Upper Bhadra Project’s trial-run waters have now reached Gonuru Lake, the terminal lake in Chitradurga district.

Water released from the Bhadra Reservoir through the Chitradurga Branch Canal has travelled across the district, bringing fresh hope to farmers and drought-hit communities.

This marks a major step towards strengthening irrigation and water security in Chitradurga. 🌾💧

The British didn’t just rule India - they reshaped our education system to serve an empire, not to build an independent civilisation.

And decades after independence, instead of fixing the foundation properly, our politicians created another problem: freebies without accountability and reservation without an exit mechanism.

I have no issue with helping the poor.

Give free quality education till Class 12.
Give food, electricity, healthcare, books, coaching - whatever is genuinely required so that poverty does not kill opportunity.
But after that, merit must matter.

You cannot keep lowering qualifying standards in medicine, engineering, administration and promotions and then expect world-class outcomes.

A doctor eventually has to treat a patient.
An engineer eventually has to build something that must not fail.
An IAS/IPS officer eventually has to take decisions affecting lakhs of people.

At that stage, caste, surname, vote bank or political entitlement cannot compensate for competence.
And reservation in promotion makes even less sense to me.
Once two people have entered the same department and worked there for years, promotion should depend on performance, capability and results.

My biggest objection to today’s welfare politics is simple:

Help people become capable. Don’t create a system where remaining dependent becomes more rewarding than becoming capable.

A country grows when government creates opportunity, education creates competence and competition rewards excellence.

Not when politicians keep distributing benefits for votes and institutions keep compromising merit in the name of permanent social engineering.

Support the disadvantaged aggressively.
But never institutionalise disadvantage by lowering the standard forever.

ED Raids Karnataka Minister Jarkiholi, Excise Official Manjunath

Bengaluru

The Enforcement Directorate (#ED) on Wednesday raided Karnataka Public Works Minister #SatishJarkiholi and Excise official Y. Manjunath over alleged excise irregularities.

Searches are underway at more than 10 locations across the state including #Bengaluru,#belagavi and Gokak. The case involves Manjunath, accused of irregular liquor licence issuance, in which Satish Jarkiholi allegedly facilitated many unauthorised bar licences.

In this case, the ED had conducted raids earlier as well, and today’s raids are believed to be in connection with those previous searches. An official statement from the ED is awaited.

Lashing out as your first response is a problem.

Because it means that you have learned to express discomfort through attack rather than communication.

Someone disagrees with you.
You snap.

Someone disappoints you.
You insult them.

You feel hurt.
You hurt them too.

Anger becomes your reflex.

Your anger may explain your reaction. It doesn't excuse the damage it causes.

Emotional maturity isn't about never getting angry.

It is about creating a pause between what you feel and what you do with it.

That pause is where emotional control begins.

For those who abuse Adani, Ambani, Tata and other industrialists, businessmen, and taxpaying citizens…

A beautiful example that explains the reality:

Ten friends once went to a hotel for dinner. Among them were some very poor, some poor, some middle-class, and some rich.

At ₹10 per person, the total bill came to ₹100.

The hotel owner decided to split the bill the way a country’s tax system works:

• First 4 (very poor) — completely free
• 5th (poor) — ₹1
• 6th (lower-middle) — ₹3
• 7th (lower-middle class) — ₹7
• 8th (middle class) — ₹12
• 9th (upper class) — ₹18
• 10th (very rich) — ₹59

The ten friends liked this system and started eating at that hotel every day.

One day the hotel owner said: “You’re my regular customers, so from today I’ll give you a discount of ₹20 on the total bill.”

Now the question was — how should this discount be divided among everyone?

The first four were already eating for free. So the owner worked out a way:

• Now the first 5 — completely free
• 6th — pays ₹2 instead of ₹3 (33% discount)
• 7th — pays ₹5 instead of ₹7 (28% discount)
• 8th — pays ₹9 instead of ₹12 (25% discount)
• 9th — pays ₹14 instead of ₹18 (22% discount)
• 10th — pays ₹49 instead of ₹59 (only 16% discount)

As they walked out after eating:

• The 6th said, “I only got a ₹1 discount, but that rich man got a ₹10 discount!”
• The 5th, who now ate for free, said, “That rich man benefited ten times more than me.”
• The 7th said, “I only got a ₹2 discount, and that businessman got ₹10!”
• The first four, who were already eating for free, said, “At least you got something — we poor people got no benefit at all from this discount.”

Then everyone started shouting: “This government only works for the rich, industrialists, and capitalists!”

And together they beat up the tenth (rich) person.

That rich man went to Singapore or Australia for treatment and never came back to eat at that hotel again.

The next day, the remaining 9 friends together had only ₹40, but their bill came to ₹72.

Friends, if we keep blaming the industrialists, big taxpayers, and businessmen who pay income tax in our state or country, they may eventually start doing business in another state or country — one that offers them a more favorable tax system and incentives.

This story is used as an example to explain a country’s tax system, budget, and tax exemptions.

Some believe that schemes offering free grain, education, electricity, water, bicycles, laptops, and treatment get people used to free facilities and can increase the country’s financial burden.

Nothing in this world is truly free — someone always pays the cost.

Industrialists, capitalists, and big taxpayers can be criticized, but the taxes they pay also play an important role in the country’s economy..

A superpower means a country that is an economic power and has the military might to back that economic power.

Today, one country wants to be the only superpower. And that country doesn't want any other military and economic power to compete with it for anything.

So it deploys sepoys in any country that tries. These sepoys are made to speak like commies who make such ambitions look bad.

They make aspiring for being a military and economic power look violent and criminal. They put this idea into the heads of the youth and the country.

They question and derail development, manufacturing, data centers, infrastructure, economic growth, military spending, and make all strategic companies of the country look criminal and anti-national.

At the same time, they constantly blackpill all Indians about India and keep creating fear, uncertainty, and doubt about the country.

They keep saying India is failing and the economy is crashing. These slaves of the ideology of the power that wants to be the only superpower are the worse than naxalites.

They don't live in the forests, brainwash uneducated villagers, train young children to be violent and create anarchy to break the country. They create anarchy by sitting in towns, appearing in television, and tear down the country's progress poisoning the minds of millions.

Dear Rahul, Your complaint against Manu Smriti is that it says women must be kept under men's control. Now read this.

Manu Smriti says that women should be under the protection of their fathers during childhood, of their husbands during youth, and of their children in old age. What he said was that women cannot remain independent of such protection.

By saying that women cannot remain independent of such protection did Manu Smriti say women must be controlled? No.

On the contrary, it explicitly argued that they cannot be protected merely by control.

It says, "No man can protect women solely through physical strength. Confining them within the home does not constitute protection; they must protect themselves through their own will and self-restraint" [9.10 & 9.12]

Here Manu Smriti echoes Tamil Saint Thiruvalluvar’s emphasis on self-restraint for women.

Far from controlling women Manu Smriti actually calls for celebration of women. It says

"Where women are honoured, the gods rejoice; where they are not, all sacred rituals become futile" [9.56];

"Fathers, brothers, husbands, and brothers-in-law who desire their own welfare and prosperity should honour women by gifting them ornaments and fine clothing" [9.55];

"If female relatives languish in sorrow, the family will perish completely; where they live free from sorrow, that family will flourish" [9.57].

Now I challenge you Rahul to prove your statement that Manu Smriti demeans women

One of the most memorable things about my conversation with our PM was the attention to detail that he showed towards my website

He could have easily asked me some simple, fluffy questions and it would have still been something that I would remember for the rest of my life

But thru his questions it was clearly visible that he had personally seen the site, explored its various facets and had experienced its various features.

Which is incredibly.

Becsuse, He didn't have to.

And given that he is the leader of a billion people and of one of the most important countries in the world, it would have been understandable.

But he still did.

It is this meticulousness, attention to detail and thoroughness that has made him the person he is today. This is why he is a leader par excellence.

It is an incredibly special feeling for me, knowing that the piddly little website I developed as a hobby over the weekend, was personally seen by the PM himself.

And it also makes us look sad, if going forward we say stuff like, "I am busy, I don't have time" etc, etc.

If Modiji, the PM of India can take out time and look at a website, who the hell are we.
