@mehdirhasan @NormOrnstein Biden, though he stutters and speaks haltingly, is less nimble, and sometimes rambles (which he has done throughout his political career) -- he is coherent, honest, cares about democracy, the truth, upholding the Constitution, and can absolutely "lead the free world."

George couldn't let go of his one desire to get Biden to say he would step down, if the right person asked him to.

Stephanopoulos could have let Biden be Biden, but he just couldn't let go of his mission to get Biden to say he would, if the right person were to ask him, step aside.
