Staying local and playing Association Baseball and then Legion is working very well for many kids in Minnesota. Club here, can range from $2K-$5K just for fees, add travel and hotel/food/gas. Easy $10K a year.

Travel baseball has become so expensive I wonder how many families are in Debt just to keep up with the national travel scene. Flights, hotels, tournament fees, lessons, gear — it adds up fast. Unfortunately : baseball doesn’t guarantee scholarships, roster spots, or a return.

The Iowa Lakes Community College baseball team was involved in a deathly crash while they were on their way to North Arkansas College for a 4 game series.
