A windfall is not automatically wealth. It only becomes wealth when it starts protecting you, paying you, and improving your ability to earn.
If you somehow find yourself with ₦20M, ₦100M, ₦1.4B or any amount of money you've never received as a lump sum before, your job is simple:
Make sure no one in your bloodline ever has to ask this question again.
Do not just spend it. Convert it into a system.
Here's how to think about it🧵
Even after England’s 4–2 win over Croatia in the World Cup, rival fans still can't stop talking about Arsenal and their players. Rent-free. 😏 CHAMPIONS 🔴⚪️
I heard, "awwww nice pants", "I love the colours", "look at that lovely cap" more than 1000 times yesterday 🤣
Even from the Cape Verde ladies inside the stadium.
Awwww Pooja ❤️

@mrbayoa1 you actually talked about an African underdog to shake one of these big footballing nations.
Cape Verde just pulled a stunt.
I am beginning to get scared of your personality
@modupsydove@kenkenlewu@_sergiotun Well, you are right, especially with what people have turned the house of Lord into.
I am just curious about consent and since no identity was disclosed, it's fine
#WorldCup
As a young boy growing up in the 1980s and a teenager in the early 90s, one of the things I looked forward to most during every FIFA World Cup was watching Brazil play.
They were the Samba Boys. It was a spectacle. Their football was joyful and artistic. It was played with flair, imagination, and confidence. Every touch seemed to carry a touch of magic.
The names still bring back memories: Socrates in midfield, Zico with the vision. Later came Romário and Bebeto. Then arrived Ronaldo and Rivaldo, carrying the Brazilian tradition into a new era while still preserving the essence of what made Brazil special.
Today, that excitement is gone.
Modern Brazilian football appears to have surrendered much of its identity. The influence of European football has transformed the way Brazilian players are developed and how the national team plays. There is now a greater emphasis on physical conditioning, tactical discipline, defensive structure, and systems. While these elements are important, they seem to have come at the expense of creativity and spontaneity.
The modern winger, once the symbol of Brazilian football, rarely excites in the same way. Gone are the days when a wide player would repeatedly beat his full-back, race to the byline and “square play” to a teammate.
We miss the Brazil that danced with the ball. We miss the Brazil that made us count down the days to the World Cup.
Somehow, Brazil is no longer Brazil.

🩸 World Blood Donor Day 2026
“One Drop of Humanity. Give Blood. Save Lives.”
Today, we celebrate the selfless individuals whose donations help save lives every day. From emergency care and surgeries to maternal health and the treatment of serious medical conditions, safe blood remains an essential part of a resilient healthcare system.
At ILERA EKO, access to blood transfusion services is part of the healthcare benefits available to enrolled members when medically required, helping to reduce the burden of unexpected healthcare costs while ensuring timely care.
As we mark this year’s World Blood Donor Day, we encourage eligible individuals to support this life-saving cause. One donation can make a difference, and one drop of humanity can help save lives.

Fun fact:
In 1976, the Nigeria government imposed what was known as the Mandela tax on Nigerian civil servants. They gave 2% of their salaries to aid the liberation cause.
Our government gave $3.7m in direct financial aid to support the anti-apartheid struggle.
Nigeria also provided free university education for thousands of South African students in exile and issued thousands of Nigerian passports to exiled South Africans, allowing them to travel and lobby internationally.
Sad to hear of the passing of veteran actor, Chief Kola Oyewo. A true icon of Nigerian theatre and cinema, he graced our screens with unforgettable performances in Saworoide as Oba Lapite, The Gods Are Not to Blame, Sango, Koseegbe, and many other classics. He was 80 years old.
May his soul rest in peace.
