I don’t know if I’m just old school, but there is this thing that ladies does that I find uncool.

A woman will carry pregnancy for 9 months, go through labour pains and finally bring the baby to life, then some of you, because of whatever relationship you have with the mother, you’ll be calling yourself the mother of the baby and be calling the actual mother some ridiculous names like “my baby mama, my baby nanny” some of you even go as far as calling the actual mom “my baby surrogate mother”.

So my friend is an orphan, they are two a boy and a girl her brother was sentenced to 15 years in prison in 2018 in China. The whole property documents was with her dad before her dad died in 2022. Her mom died first in 2020, I don’t know if it was as the result of the heartbreak.
So she on the other hand got married in 2024, the whole property documents of her brother is with her. Her husband is asking her to sell one which is the hotel in Asaba.

What broke my heart is what she told me on the phone. “ her husband told her “how sure are you that your brother will come out from prison alive??.
