बनारस में राजेंद्र प्रसाद सिंह अपने बेटे के लिए दवा लेने जा रहे थे। महानगर बस से सुंदरपुर के लिए बैठे। सीट के लिए एक यात्री से विवाद हो गया। मामला सुंदरपुर चौकी पहुंचा। दरोगा नरेंद्र प्रताप सिंह ने यात्री की जेब से 100 रुपए चुराने का आरोप लगाकर राजेंद्र को जेल में डाल दिया। जेल में पुलिस ने राजेंद्र को इतना प्रताड़ित किया कि उनकी मौत हो गई। मामले जी जांच दरोगा राधेश्याम को सौंपी गई। राधेश्याम ने कहा कि राजेंद्र ने अपने शॉल को फंदा बनाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। अगले दिन बीएचयू में पोस्टमार्टम हुआ। मंडलीय अस्पताल के डॉक्टर केके जैन ने पोस्टमार्टम किया और अपनी रिपोर्ट में बताया कि मौत फंदे की वजह से हुई है। पुलिस ने परिजनों को बिना बताये अंतिम संस्कार कर दिया।
राजेंद्र की पत्नी ने मानवाधिकार आयोग से इसकी शिकायत की। मामले की जांच सीबीसीआईडी को सौंपी गई। तत्कालीन दरोग नरेंद्र प्रताप सिंह को 10 साल और राधेश्याम सिंह को 6 महीने की सजा हुई है। जानेमाने बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टर केके जैन को 5 साल की सजा और 40 रुपए का जुर्माना लगाया है। मामला 29 साल पुराना 1997 की है। अब जाकर फैसला आया है। सोचिए हमारा सिस्टम कितना भ्रष्ट और घुना हुआ है।
A man had booked an AC coach ticket almost two months in advance.
When he finally boarded the train and went to his seat, he was shocked to find a woman already sitting there.
"Sorry, this is my seat," he said politely while showing his confirmed ticket.
But the woman refused to move and insisted that the seat belonged to her.
The passenger tried repeatedly to find the TT, but no one came. With no help available, he was forced to spend a large part of the journey sitting near the train door.
After a long wait, the TT finally arrived.
Instead of resolving the issue, he told the passenger, "We can't remove this woman. Just adjust somehow and complete your journey."
At that moment, the passenger realized what might have happened — his seat appeared to have been unofficially sold to someone else.
When he started recording a video of the incident, the TT reportedly became even more arrogant.
"Complain wherever you want," he said. "Even if the RPF comes, they won't remove her. If they can't, what can you do?"
With those words, the TT walked away.
Despite holding a confirmed AC ticket booked months in advance, the passenger allegedly spent the rest of the journey sitting near the restroom, while someone else occupied the seat he had legally paid for.

Why should a RAC passenger bear full charge for 50% of a side lower seat? Isn't it unfair?
Once the chart is prepared, Railways must refund 50% of the fare with interest for RAC passengers. The same source of payment can be used for the refund.
Pls implement this immediately. I see many ladies and senior citizens who travel by RAC, without sleep and they pay full charge.
If any of you reading this feel that this should be implemented immediately, comment with your thoughts and share until Railways makes it a fair deal for passengers.
