I know someone that went for a short visit and posted a similar video along the same tag of “returning to Nigeria”. In fact when they posted the videos and all the online keyboard warriors were arguing, they were already back in the UK!

That’s why I tell people, social media is a performative facade. Planning your life based of it, could be detrimental.

Go outside, touch grass, speak with real people and take advice from genuine people that know your specific circumstances rather than based off random people’s life.

Pros of Head Office

- You tend to be noticed easily by key decision makers and that may speed up your rise in the company

- Seeing top people regularly may also motivate you

Con of Head Office
- More pressure

Pro of Branch
- Less pressure, and a little more independence (and, if you choose to, laziness)

Cons
- Folks at HO may have faster promotion
- At some point, you may lose motivation and become complacent and probably static in your career.
