@amazonIN I ordered 3 boxes of EASE-LACTOSE from Amazon India. The manufacturer (Crux essentials) delivered it on 25 May, but the expiry date is May 2026. I contacted the Amazon helpline and after 14 minutes of listening to music and talking to a lady associate, I was told that since the product does not qualify for a return or refund, Amazon cannot help me. This in spite of the fact the selling expired medication is an offense under Indian laws. Is my only recourse approaching a consumer court? May be the manufacturer is counting that nobody will bother for a thousand Rupees? Any wonder why Indian products are looked at suspiciously all over the world?
Complete waste of time. Same reply. Time elapsed. Apologies. Nothing can be done. I have now spent all the balance amount in the wallet. Once I receive the material, if it is also not expired or damaged goods, I will cancel the Prime membership. Thank you for your attention in this matter.
@AmazonHelp I have gone through these iterations 4 times already. You said you will send a mail with action taken. Please let me know if you intend to do so.
After wasting another 30 minutes chatting with two more Amazon India personnel, I got the same answer that I got from the App the first time. 5 days over; hence we can’t do anything. I do not want a refund. And surely not the medication from this manufacturer anymore. I want to know how can anybody supply expired medication in India. Is it legal? I and my 3 family members will be canceling our prime accounts in India and @AmazonAE . And I will approach a consumer court to address the issue of delivering expired medication until suitable action is taken against the supplier.

@Chellaney Pakistan is the only country to which Iranians can travel to! Other than that there is no role for Pakistan. And who will willingly accept to be the mediator after what Oman went through???
Dear @ECISVEEP , as you know, it is difficult to travel to India and back from the GCC countries, in fact from all parts of world due to the current conflict. How do I exercise my right to vote in the upcoming elections of Kerala? Is there any plans to allow us to vote online or in the embassies? How do you ensure that the NRI votes are not misused? @AsianetNewsML
