Gold is up 46% in less than a year.
That's more than double the gains of the Nasdaq and S&P500 in the same period.
This is now a historic bull run for gold.
Anytime gold makes moves like this, it means that something serious is afoot in the global monetary system.
Gold was pegged to $35 an ounce until 1971 when the French sent war ships to the US to exchange their paper dollars for gold.
President Nixon told them to pound sand.
And as a result, the US defaulted on its promises and changed the monetary system overnight.
The dollar was no longer "as good as gold."
Only gold was as good as gold.
Which sent gold on a tear in the 1970's, averaging 44% gains per year, with a 133% gain in 1979 alone.
Gold was basically the Bitcoin of the 1970's.
So what's going on this time?
The monetary system is changing once again.
Most people will wait for the news to spell it out for them after the fact before they believe it...
But smart money has been positioning for this scenario for years.
Gold bugs have seen the writing on the wall since at least 2008, but that writing was highlighted in bright fluorescent spray-paint in 2020.
Global capital is now stacking Bitcoin and gold with haste because they are neutral, scarce, bearer assets without counter-party risk.
Property that isn't exposed to default or debasement risk is extremely valuable when the only options for central planners become default or debasement.
On that note, Trump is now floating the idea that there may be fraud within US Treasuries and that "maybe we don't have as much debt as we thought."
That sounds suspiciously like Trump is looking to default on some portion of outstanding US debt.
Nobody can tell you exactly which path the central planners will take.
But some form of default appears inevitable.
It could come in the form of an abrupt currency devaluation, which has happened many times throughout history.
Or it could come from the Trump administration deciding that some portion of US treasuries should no longer be honored for one reason or another.
The man is talking about making Canada the 51st state and turning the Gaza Strip into the Riviera of the Middle East...
That's your clue that the Overton window is wide open and all options are on the table when it comes to reducing US debt-to-GDP.
Luckily for you, Bitcoin and Gold are two options to protect your assets from default, debasement, and seizure risk.
I hold vastly more Bitcoin than I do gold because I see it as a far superior version of gold with much more upside.
It has outperformed gold by 500% since 2020.
And I expect that trend to continue as investors around the world continue to move into neutral scarce assets.
Bitcoin was designed for this moment.
Finite supply. Easily divisible. Movable at the speed of light.
It's property perfected.

The problem is the moment someone starts talking about how China, UAE, US have built wealth-- most people in India start bashing them.
And, come after them personally.
This behaviour stems from massive insecurities.
If you really wish to get rich, improve your life/career: learn from people with practical experiences-- who have been there, done that.
Who took a chance in life to do better things.
Sitting in Gurgaon, preaching how people are unhappy abroad, just proves that you are an idiot.
First, go abroad live, see life for yourself. And, then give opinions on what is better vs worse.
