Rich tributes were paid to Squadron Leader Ajjamada B Devayya on his 53rd death anniversary in Madikeri today. The braveheart laid down his life in the 1965 Indo-Pak war. Devayya was the only Air Force Officer to be awarded the Maha Vir Chakra (MVC) posthumously.
Relief camps spread across Kodagu need lots and lots of volunteers to help distribute relief materials to stranded people at remote corners of the district.
