It has been revealed that the City of Asheville, NC, will reportedly rebuild only 8 houses using the $225 million grant it received from the Trump administration following Hurricane Helene.

That's correct…..Eight.…out of 11,488 damaged homes.

The city allocated only $3 million for home repairs.

Meanwhile, $14.9 million was allocated for “administration.”

That means nearly five times more was allocated for administration than for repairing homes for people affected by the disaster.

And that's not the worst of it….

More than 100 approved families are reportedly currently on a waitlist for assistance that they may never receive.

After receiving the $225 million federal grant, Asheville residents deserve answers about exactly where the money is going — and how much is actually reaching families whose homes were damaged or destroyed. @asheville @AvlWatchdog H/T Deep Leaks
