@McArthurMurray1@ScotiabankHelps It's pretty remarkable that the name of the account is 'Scotiabank Helps'! The name of the account that blocked access to my Visa was 'ScotiaDigitalHelp'. Apparently there's some hidden sarcasm afoot.
@ScotiabankHelps Hello 'Scotiabank Helps'. I'm wondering if you might be able to actually help with a situation beyond simply assuring me how much you would like to help!
@ScotiabankHelps Thank you for finally taking the time to read my messages and understand that as mentioned from the outset I am in Colombia so don't have a phone! Still no solution yet, though. I'm not surprised that you would prefer to talk offline! How strange to have no other solution!
@ScotiabankHelps Generic copy-paste messages really aren't going to help very often individual situations. It would be really helpful if you might be able to take the time to actually understand the problem that you have caused and try to figure out a solution!!!
@ScotiabankHelps Thank you for finally replying!!! But unfortunately the reply you sent to be honest was not at all helpful to me and in truth only clearly demonstrated that you have not read my messages or made any genuine attempt to actually help!
@ScotiabankHelps If you might be able to stop disconnecting me from my money and accounts, that would be very much greatly appreciated!!!! Definitely not the best timing!
@ScotiabankHelps If you might be able to do something to unblock my card, that would be terrific! The principal reason that I am not sleeping on the streets at the moment is because of the kindness of an Airbnb host that I stayed with during an earlier trip.
@ScotiabankHelps Since then, I have received no further response for yet another hour after sending the additional information you requested, the phone number that you asked me to call in your email!
@ScotiabankHelps I then received no response for nearly 1.5 hours, and then the next response that I received did not appear to make any use of the information that I provided, and instead simply referred to information that I had already provided before the first response.
@ScotiabankHelps Desipte that I first sent you a private Twitter message over three hours ago, the only responses that I have received first asked me to provide some information.
@ScotiabankHelps I then had a Colombian friend figure out how to call you directly. Despite the fact that it is a dedicated fraud prevention line, we waited on hold for 15 minutes until the account credits ran out because calls from Colombia to Canada are really quite costly.
@ScotiabankHelps I received an auto-response from 'ScotiabankDigitalHelp' indicating that the email account was not monitored, instructing me to "please kindly follow the directions in your original email and contact Scotiabank" at the number you sent me.
@ScotiabankHelps I tried to respond to the email that you sent instructing me to call a Canadian number despite that the charges clearly indicate that I am travelling in Colombia, and I explained that I am in Colombia and am unable to call you from here.
@ScotiabankHelps You kindly sent me a 416 'collect call' number, but not only do I not know how to use it from Colombia, but the people who run the hotel that I was staying at do not know either.
@ScotiabankHelps I am travelling in Colombia and you appear to have blocked me from using my VISA account because I have been making purchases in Colombia.
