So you people IMAMS don't speak up against bad government? I know we're hammering on pastors but they're other religions in Nigeria. Traditional rulers Nkor? Are they speaking up ? All other religions Nkor?
If you're upset that women can't be preach or be pastors, your argument is with God, not the Christians who are simply repeating what He has been saying for the past 2000 years.
We do not have a President, mehn.
No leader should be this heartless toward the people he governs. No leader at all.
There’s no empathy, no urgency, no compassion, just silence, vibes, and moving on like nothing is happening in the nation. Like lives are not being lost.
You slept on your bed under a duvet because of the cold
Some toddlers slept on bare floor in the rain after a long day of torture
Yet you defend the government that rehabilitate the terrorists when they are caught?
You won’t escape God’s vengeance!
Please, can we not vote for Bola Ahmed Tinubu again 😭😭
At this point, we can even beg you people 😩
Till today, our president has not addressed what happened in Oyo State. Not even a “fake” sympathy message or anything 😭😭
God abegggg😩
@EEgwuono Abortion is murder. Full stop. Feminism shouldn't make you advocate for it. Yes, you have a right to your body but that baby's body is not urs.
If everytime they call out error and your default response is "hypocrites" or "pharisees", I don't think you're truly expressing the love.
The blessed Apostle Paul says that love does not rejoice in wrong doing.
Why will you think they're correcting to show knowledge or drags?
Well, this doesn't hold the same
If you see someone and deem them fit to enroll into your discipleship school and your criteria for excellence is just excelling in the exam, you will be unjust if you don't give them what they deserve
My brother @BrotherPossible gave right perspective to this that the problem isn't about the lady or the award but the church and entry requirements
I'll consider that one of the biggest undoing of the Nigerian church that dilutes is the sermon of progressive salvation. It's one that has made acceptance to all and thereby made sin common, normal and familiar in the church... because salvation is "progressive." It begs the question, "has Jesus become incapacitated to save an individual like he did save men in time past to the testament of "once I was blind, now I can see?"
If there's no repentance in salvation, we have the question of what you've been saved from to answer. So we find people in church who are saved by our definitions but go back home to their cohabiting babes after service and their usual routine sinful lives because they are being progressively saved. So who did they meet??
What did Jesus save you from?
For everyone he encounters, he leaves a testament of an encounter
If one is in the state of "progressive salvation" with no testament of a change in their lives beyond regular church attendance, they actually do not have a place in Church leadership, church workforce or discipleship. When we bring them to this level, we graduate them physically with no spiritual change of position, increase their knowledge of the letters without transformation, ultimately increasing convenience with a double standard life; a common phenomenal and a dangerous place to be
That this has become our position, a new normal that you can no longer point at someone and their lives, social media conduct, heart dispositions points at someone who has met the Lord but that one holds microphones, ushers in, navigates the media, has graduated from discipleship and even advance bible school
The clap clap offerings and shift grounds is doing a thing but it's sure, "this is not the faith that was handed over to us"
@LoFunmilayo Let's calm down o. I pray she gets saved eventually but openly declaring her stand via her posts, it's very obvious she's not saved and should not be working, esp in offices that require directly ministering to others. Imagine her in the choir
