Really solid ending.

Soundtrack was good, the directing was above average and the decision making regarding the wrap up was spot on.

Rating: 7.8/10
Bring back this type of melodramas!

心に残る小説が私にもあって、そういう小説が書きたいと思っていました。登場人物のことをときどき思い出してはくすっとしたり、躓いたときに勇気をもらったり、まるで親友以上の存在が自分の深いところで生き続けるような、そんな人の心に残り続ける小説が書きたいと、ずっと思っていました。

と、原作小説のあとがきに書いたことのままなのですが、この物語のだれかが、あなたさまの中に残る存在になれたでしょうか。そうだといいなと思いつつ、ときどき思い出してもらえたらうれしいです。

この度はアニメにしてくれて本当にありがとうございました。そのアニメに出会って、見てくれて、本当にありがとうございました。

There were some weird OST choice when Koharu's situation apparentely got worse, but overall, the episode was quite good.

One episode left, let's see how it all wraps up (most likely a happy one)

For anime-onlies like me, Re:Zero was never about extravagant/flashy fights. It's always been about mind-boggling storytelling and deep character writing

Definitely a solid episode

@Eseba6969 No es por la adaptación, es por el momento en sí, esta muy bien, pero hubieron cosas más impactantes y reveladoras. Así de sencillo el pasado de Emilia o la prueba de Subaru en el Santuario fueron mucho mejores

Ahora que ya no es spoiler hay que tener una incomoda discusion y aclarar que no es ni top 20 capitulos de Re zero este (lo cual habla bien de RZ), hay que prohibirle la palabra a los lectores de la VN por unos 5 o 6 años asi dejan de generar expectativas altisimas donde no van

I just miss the insert songs during these types of episodes, like what they did during the sanctuary trial, which made those scenes much more memorable.

As an anime-only viewer, this felt like a classic re:zero episode (ofc a great thing).

The soundtrack was solid as always and the plot never fails to surprise.

Sure, there was some weird camera direction, but does that justify all the hate it's getting? I don't think so

Is grounded drama a turn-off and completely unnecessary?
Why wasn't Grimgar a MASSIVE hit?

I've been trying to understand why a piece like Grimgar wasn't a bigger success.
The anime adaptation was as incredible as it could possibly be. Directed by Ryosuke Nakamura, who famously directed series like Attack on titan and Your Lie in April, and produced by A-1 pictures.

So what was missing? Was it the lack of an overpowered protagonist, rapid skill progression, or broken starting abilities?
Do anime fans demand a happy ending for every chapter? Did the characters have to save each other through the 'power of friendship' whenever they faced death
