Been on Bluesky for a while but only just started using it properly. If anyone sees this in amongst the ads and bots, come say hi - handle is the same as here
Absolute rubbish. Sure there were mistakes, but Kier Starmer was doing an entirely reasonable job. But the British media need a scandal, they need crisis, and by God they’ll manufacture one if they need to. Not that it’s hard with the rabid right-wing misinformation out there
Understanding how to lead is not the same as entertaining the media. Read the biography of Abraham Lincoln. Or watch the movie. He understood how making long lasting change required political skills. To point out that @Keir_Starmer lacks those skills is not to attack or condemn him but to try to explain why he was forced to quit today despite winning a vast majority
Too late. I’ve totally lost the love for the game, such as it is, at the top level. Spent last season watching the likes of Blyth Spartans and Ashington—that level of football is still the sport I fell in love with. Not interested in the World Cup at all which is a sad fact
@SketchesbyBoze Also, the answer to the question is yes. Even when I was 10 in 1997, I’d be watching James Bond films from the 60s and 70s, Italian Job, Jason and the Argonauts, and loved them
@neheritagelib I’ve got an excellent independent councillor in St Mary’s ward - I actually see her around and she’s helped out on numerous local issues. If it wasn’t for her, who knows. I’d love to vote Labour but feel taken for granted
@neheritagelib@BillCorcoran5 I lived on Gibson Street for years, passed the baths most days. Always fancied a look inside and always thought it was sad to see it just standing idle, slowly decaying
@Strombo94 Thank you. Believe me I tried to make a sequel work but wasn't able to for a variety of reasons. That said though, you should definitely play Expeditions: Rome - the devs must have read my book too because it's very similar haha
One of my very favourite things I've been involved in since reviewing:
My interview with Dr Jóhanna Katrín Friðriksdóttir!
Jóhanna is knowledgeable AF and it was a huge privilege to talk to her about Viking women.

It's Norsevember, and although I don't have an official schedule for you this year, we have such a treasure trove of posts.
Perhaps you need a refresher on journeying through the 9 worlds?
