People need to realize that the #Yankees main goal is:
1. Sell tickets
2. Sell concessions
3. Make a profit
4. Make the playoffs so they can get extra $$
WINNING the World Series isn’t a goal anymore
I hate Brian Cashman with my entire being
He’s a bum who goes off the 90’s dynasty that he didn’t build in any shape or form
And now we’re stuck with him forever
@yankeesondeck_ They are wearing the old logo for the Hall of Fame. A lot of teams are wearing their throwback logos on their hats. They also have a Hall of Fame patch on the side.
Play will get overshadowed by Schlittler and Headrick’s performances but Dominguez came up with this confident and quick with a missile to home. Hard to expect something like this last year
Outside of Judge and Cole’s ages, plus a very weak AL, the reason to go all in is how good Schlittler-Cole-Fried is for your playoff rotation. Best Yankees 1-2-3 in two decades. Fix your problems, no half measures.
My prediction for the Yankees’ deadline (with explanations AND packages that will obviously be wrong lol)
1. Ryan Jeffers to NYY
Twins acquire: Henry Lalane + Bryce Cunningham + JC Escarra
Two players out the Yankees’ top 10 for a slight overpay I overlook to ensure a contact-first solution at the largest position of need at catcher
2. Mason Miller to NYY
Padres acquire: Spencer Jones + Ben Hess + Elmer Rodriguez + Will Warren
A definite value overpay on a reliever that slots David Bednar into high leverage bridge to the best closer in the game
Overpay is again necessary to avoid San Diego making the smart play and holding Miller until the winter with 3 years of control
3. Jung Ho Lee to NYY
Giants acquire: Kaeden Kent + Brenden Beck
Prefer a right-handed contract-first addition to the offense (Lee hitting .302 in 2026) but his fit would work wonders for a team failing to hit w/ RISP or getting on base without walking
Call up George Lombard Jr August 17th (travel day) to make his debut in Baltimore the following day protecting ROY rewards on him
Additions of THREE bats post deadline plus Mason Miller and the eventual Judge/Stanton return they’ll believe is enough to win a championship
That means the majority of the bats in the lineup today won’t be there come October — it’s an overhaul and i’d support it
Thanks for reading! 🙌🏽
The #Yankees under Brian Cashman have finally broken. Years of Aaron Judge historical seasons hid trash roster construction. That is now over. This franchise cannot continue with this General Manager.
My plan to fix the #Yankees overnight:
- Trade for Luis Arraez to replace Jazz Chisholm Jr. at 2B
- Trade for Ryan Jeffers to be the new catcher
- Call up George Lombard Jr. to play 3rd while Caballero plays SS
- Call up Spencer Jones to man RF over Jasson Dominguez
- Call up Yovanny Cruz to be the setup man
- Send Anthony Volpe & Austin Wells to AAA or just DFA
- Fire Aaron Boone and promote Shelley Duncan as manager
It’s not a great idea to return Anthony Volpe to SS right now with the way José Caballero is hitting the ball. Hope the Yankees see it that way as well. Volpe hasn’t earned the SS role, and Caballero is hot. The timing isn’t right to make a switch.
.@OfficialBraylon was pumped about the Jets taking a mismatch nightmare in Kenyon Sadiq.
Reaction to the first two Jets picks from Braylon, former Jets safety Kerry Rhodes, @RyanMSampson & @FrankieVitz.

Really not a big fan of the spring training jerseys as alternates, but it’s whatever. There’s 3 “tradition” changes that would legit piss me off:
Names on the back of the jerseys
Changing the pinstripe uniforms
Selling the naming rights to the stadium
