The recent $XLM x UNDP partnership brings a lot to wonder on

The key goal? Financial Inclusion.

As we know Stellar & the UN have previously worked extensively together prior.

Now with this official partnership it truly further cements Stellar with a global giant.

In the past we saw the UNHCR select Stellar & work with the Stellar Development Foundation to bring payment aid solutions

This was done to help with financial assistance for the war that had broken out in Ukraine.

TL;DR- It involved sending payment aid to citizens in Ukraine on Stellar & leveraging the MoneyGram partner for quick digital asset to fiat conversions.

And since then their collaboration had gone on to win an award for best use of blockchain!

Safe to say that the UN & Stellar had already tested out the feasibility of this collaboration before they had just recently established it.

The ethos of this collaboration falls PERFECTLY inline with what Stellar is doing.

Financial Inclusion has been an area that no project has targeted better than Stellar.

From serving the unbanked via solutions like MoneyGram,

To now integrations of key financial services like Stripe & Mastercard.

All the way to even breaking down the barriers of entry to tokenized assets via WisdomTree!

And now... A giant as big as the United Nations OFFICIALLY partnering with Stellar for the same goals.
