I got people who make 30k a year, in my comment's gloating that Trump is gonna win. Brother I'm wealthy. IM the one that is getting tax cut benefits from Trumps policy. The benefits YOU will be paying for.
Stupid.
Well, I was half asleep when that #earthquake happened. Was hella confused wondering if it was just my neighbors upstairs being loud af, but it went on too long. Then I thought maybe I was just having another damn hypnopompic hallucination. Turns out it was actually a thing 🫨
“And it was all yellow.”
That NYC air quality, tho. This was at 2:15pm today.
Hope the Canadian fires are able to be contained soon. Major props to all the wildfire firefighters out there.
@freckles2701@megcelu After rereading that like 709 times to figure out the conversation, I interpreted it as he doesn’t agree w/ her about the kick. He responds in a somewhat sarcastic tone like, “you can conjure up fiction—that I kicked you—but you can’t even admit the reality of what all you did.”
@JxmesKIy @AdamHive01 @Cfc_Hendrix Huh, weird. Twitter got confused lol. I do have to disagree w/ your Depp opinion (I’m assuming you watched the trial). He was v open about his shortcomings, while Heard essentially called everyone a liar. Her testimony was inconsistent & didn’t gel with evidence, but his was/did.
@JxmesKIy @AdamHive01 @Cfc_Hendrix See, I don’t even know how to mute things in totality, so that’s where I’m at lol. Do you follow celebrities or influencers or topics about them regularly?
@JxmesKIy @AdamHive01 @Cfc_Hendrix If I hadn’t remembered this case was happening at the time, I’m 97% sure I wouldn’t have seen anything about it on social media b/c it’s not my thing. I’m very much not alone in that, trust me. The only social media brought into the courtroom was by Heard’s team with their expert
@JulieDanelle777 Right tho? I feel like I need to just do small write-up like this to copy and paste because it’s almost always the same paper-thin argument that’s based on superficial knowledge of the UK trial. I’m just Team Facts & Reality
@Nadoosh24714654@CausbyJustice @EJoffries @Skeptical_kanga @cbouzy She was not a party in the UK trial; it’s not the same and shouldn’t be framed as such. Due to that, she was not beholden to the same rules of discovery as Depp. The judge took only Heard’s word and ignored any of Depp’s evidence that was corroborated and/or based in common sense
@GudGawlyMsHolly@ChristineDeven1@qchapa@ThatUmbrella Eh, I can kinda see that tho. Voldemort didn’t really look fully human? But that was offset by simple black robes. JD’s version, stylistically, was not to my liking honestly, and I had wished it had been a little less “eccentric.” It seemed a little to pop-cartoony in a dark time
@qchapa@ThatUmbrella Also, JK can’t write movies. She may think she can, but they’re not good. I didn’t know what the hell I was watching when I saw the second one. It was all over the place and hella confusing. So that possibly could be a factor, too
@washingtonpost Uh. This barely goes into it and leaves out two huge reasons: 1. Heard was not a party and therefore not subject to the same rules of discovery as Depp and 2. The judge oddly discredited a lot of evidence from Depp—some corroborated or just common sense—and only took Heard’s word
