@StateDept Despite rumours to the contrary, we're doing ok thanks. Perhaps try focussing on keeping your current despot in check before you start stirring up division here. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION IN THE MATTER.

@Ltrs_Frm_Across@PolitlcsUK One word corrected, "white" cold rage should have been "pure" cold rage. I'm struggling to see how that changes about the tone and sentiment of Mr Farage's statement, but he has his apology, well done Nigel.

🛑 West Street Sign 🛑
Following reports from your local Lindley Councillors regarding the damaged street sign on West Street, action is being taken! 🛠️
The Kirklees Council Street Naming Team has been notified and they have arranged for a brand-new sign to be manufactured and installed in its correct position.
Thank you to everyone who raised this with us. We will keep you updated on when the installation is complete. As always, if you spot any other issues in the ward that need fixing, please don't hesitate to get in touch!

"That's what happens when you elect Nigel Farage fans..."
James O'Brien reacts to two new Reform councillors admitting they don't know what they're doing.
🚨 SHOCKING — These are the exact same Reform activists who flood X every day screaming, lecturing, and telling everyone how Britain should be run…
Yet 24 hours after getting elected in Kirklees, they stand up in full council and admit:
“I don’t understand the Constitution…
I don’t understand standing orders…
I don’t understand what an amendment is.”
Then they whine it’s “not democratic” they might vote on things they don’t understand
This is the terrifying danger of populist rage politics: loud online warriors with ZERO clue how to actually govern.
Handing real power to people who don’t even know where to start is how countries collapse.

Councillor Karen Allison was elected the new Mayor of Kirklees yesterday and has chosen Huddersfield based Uniform Exchange as her charity of the year

Council AGM today, no leader elected, no administration formed. What I learned -
1. Reform don't have a plan for Kirklees
2. Reform believe that with no overall majority, they still have a mandate to form an administration and run the council
3. Reform don't know what they are doing
4. Reform claim that because they do not understand the process, the process is undemocratic
5. Reform don't know what they are doing.
6. Reform claim to want to work with other parties, yet they will not share with other parties what they plan to do if they form an administration
7. Reform don't have a plan for Kirklees
8. Reform have a sense of entitlement and believe only they can form an administration, but they actually have no majority and no clear mandate. They got about 30% of the overall votes cast.
9. Reform don't know what they are doing.
10. We will continue to fight for our communities and work constructively with any competent administration
11. Reform have demonstrated no competence, and plan or vision for how and what they will deliver for residents of Kirklees
