Imagine being told a month ago (when our PL status was in jeopardy) that Tottenham and Newcastle are set to open talks over Sandro Tonali with the player keen after completed deals for Van Hecke, Senesi & Robertson (with Savinho also looking likely). All of this by June 16th. There's still two & a half months remaining in the Summer window!

No one would believe you as it sounds too ambitious. Especially after back to back 17th placed finishes, it's also a lot of movement this early on in the window.

You would assume Tottenham fans would be in bedlam right? Nope, they're moaning instead. And don't forget, this is the same fanbase that once cheered a summer window consisting the likes of Richarlison, Bissouma, Forster, Perisic, Lenglet, Spence & Udogie. The summer before that? Romero, Emerson Royal, Gollini, Bryan Gil & Pape Sarr. Those summers were celebrated. I remember it well. But apparently this window is one to be sulking over. I really don't get our fans.
