If it is true that Lindsay Clancey has 11 jurors on the side of acquitting her of murdering her 3 children based on insanity and only 1 holdout for her guilt…
That is a Judges 19-21 moment (the rape, murder, dismemberment of the Levite’s concubine).
Something so shocking that the story spreads to the corners of the kingdom and horrifies a nation into asking, “What have we become?”
Babies as young as 19 weeks have been delivered and survived. By 24 weeks - still the second trimester - babies have a very solid chance of survival.
You don’t have to be a doctor to understand the simple fact that late term abortion is never medically necessary. If the baby needs to be removed to save mom, delivery is the option. There is no reason to kill the baby first. In fact, the two-day abortion process is much riskier for women than an emergency c-section.
Imagine a post like this, but instead of referring to an unborn baby, he’s referring to his Down Syndrome toddler. Everyone would be aghast and enraged.
Yet the only differences between a toddler and an unborn baby are age and location. These aren’t reasons to kill someone outside the womb, so they don’t work as reasons to kill someone inside the womb, either.
No euphemisms or sympathetic language can mask the reality that killing a baby is brutal, painful, and evil.
People with special needs are no less valuable - and therefore no less deserving of life - than people without special needs.
Despite Jesse’s attempt to center this murder on his and his wife’s feelings, the truth is, in every abortion scenario, the primary - and typically only - victim is the baby. He or she deserves all of our sympathy and advocacy.
As always I only support military action anywhere, in any context, if it directly serves the interests of American citizens. It’s troubling that the arguments we’re hearing for this war in Iran, including from Trump himself, seem to revolve primarily around “bringing freedom to the Iranian people.” As Americans, the freedom of Iranians is not our responsibility. If a single American life is lost in the service of that goal, it will be a travesty.
What nobody has even come close to sufficiently explaining is how this war will first and foremost directly benefit American citizens. That is a case that needed to have been made clearly and convincingly before this move, and it wasn’t. We’re also told how this will benefit Israel, and I’m sure it will. But Israel is not America. What does it do for America? How does it help us? That needs to be explained to us. And it isn’t “panicking” or demonstrating “disloyalty” to demand those very basic answers about how American tax money, and potentially American lives, are being spent.
We hear about the danger of a nuclear Iran, but that’s odd because we were told that Iran’s nuclear capabilities had already been set back decades. We hear that this war will be over quickly and easily because Iran is powerless, which I hope and pray is the case, and maybe it will be. But that’s odd, too, because if Iran is such a paper tiger then how were they a danger to us in the first place? It seems hard to argue both that Iran is an existential threat to the United States and that we can topple them in 20 minutes with no casualties or negative downstream effects.
Also the political calculation really matters here. A huge majority of American oppose this. That’s just a fact. If it costs Republicans in 26 and 28, then, no matter how things work out in Iran, it will not have been worth it. A free Iran at the cost of Democrat rule here at home is a bad deal. A free Iran for an unfree America would be just about the worst trade of the century.
I’m praying for our great country today.
You don’t have to be a doctor to see how stupid this is. If a mom’s life is in danger at this stage, you deliver the baby. Whether via abortion or delivery, the baby still comes out. There is 0 reason to kill the baby first.
The evangelicals who only pipe up about politics when Trump does something bad insist that it’s Trump voters who idolize him. In reality, it’s they who place him in this incredibly elevated position that demands their constant attention and outrage. To them, he is a litmus test. To them, support or criticism of him is *the* indicator of whether someone is sane and good.
To me—and I assume to most Trump voters— he is just a person. He represents a large % of our priorities, and he was far, far better than Dem alternatives since 2016. By now, we know what we’re getting. We’re gonna get some unforced errors and some amazing policies. We’re gonna get some things that make us cringe and others that make us cheer.
I will continue to be glad for the policies that help our nation and will call out what doesn’t - like the continued circulation of the abortion pill and the admin’s push for taxpayer funded IVF.
But… what else do yall want to happen? He’s not going to resign. He’s not going to be impeached. Do yall want us to say we wish Kamala had won? Well, I don’t. And I will never.
Multiple things can be true at once.
Trump often acts childishly and in ways that are demeaning to the office of President.
Trump’s also done more to protect religious liberty than any other president and helped stop the wickedness of transing children.
He’s far better than Biden was or Harris would’ve been! And most “Never Trumpers” were virtually silent about all of their wickedness!
Maybe the saddest thing in our nation is Trump was the best choice we had! And no Democrat is ever a good choice.
I will support Trump for the good he does, confront him on the bad he does, and continue to pray for his salvation.
I despise the false narratives about racism from the Left and some on the Right about this, but I also despise that some people think this video is “amusing and harmless.”
Trump isn’t a racist, but he is a fool whose childish behaviour harms his good work.
Be sober-minded.
Need to apologize and make a retraction here. I posted too soon. (I’m still in the hospital on drugs, can I blame that?? 😄)
But it is now apparent that those couple of seconds that depicted the Obamas was part of a second video that had rolled over from the first one that Trump or a White House staffer shared.
Now, you can argue that the White House should be more careful and responsible to vet every video that goes on their social media accounts to ensure there’s no unintended additional material there. But the idea that Trump deliberately posted racist images of the Obamas is a serious false narrative.
I’m sorry I got taken in by it.
Saving your wife from a 9–5 job is the ultimate flex.
Not because work is bad.
But because freedom is rare.
It means she does not wake up to alarms she hates.
She does not beg for leaves.
She does not drain her best years under someone else’s clock.
It means her time belongs to her.
Her energy stays in the home, the body, the mind, the children, the ideas she actually cares about.
This is not about control.
This is about protection.
A man who can say,
“You work because you want to, not because you have to”
has already won a game most people never even enter.
Money can buy cars.
Status can buy applause.
But buying peace for your woman
and choice for her life
that’s real power.
Old-school responsibility.
Modern-day dominance.
A woman is power. She carries wisdom and perspective that shape decisions.
That strength should not be wasted in an office where it barely matters.
A family needs her presence, her judgment, her influence.
That is where her power creates something lasting.
On Instagram, it’s 2020 all over again. Women, including many, many Christian women, are being completely duped by the anti-ICE propaganda. Believed the “ICE arrested a lone 5-year-old” completely. It’s demoralizing. I am working HARD in my DMs and posts and on my show trying to combat this nonsense and appeal to these women. However, I felt like I was the only white evangelical woman questioning BLM in 2020, and I don’t feel as alone now. There are more of us 5 years later, and I am grateful for that.
