Let's run down the list:
If Korra gave up learning the Avatar State for Mako, everyone would've dragged her for life.
If Korra was the one to find Mako and Bolin family and selfishly keep that information from them? They would've roasted her on a spit.
If Korra ran away and got herself frozen for 100 years, allowing the Earth Kingdom to take over...they would've blamed everything following on her.
We already know how people treat Korra for trusting someone even when their team says don't, while other Avatars can trust people against the protest of their team and get a pass. 😐
An abuser literally stealing the light from inside you and gleefully destroying it in a way that permanently cuts you off from who you used to be is a HECK of an allegory btw
Lmao u acting like losing past lives erases what the Avatar is, which isn’t true. Reincarnation still continues, the Avatar still exists, and their authority was never just about consulting previous lives. Their role is to maintain balance in the present, not just rely on the past.
Aang had access to past Avatars and still rejected their advice when it didn’t align with his values. That alone shows their authority isn’t dependent on inherited wisdom, it comes from their own decisions.
Korra losing that connection removes guidance, not identity. It forces her to act without a safety net, which is a narrative shift, not a failure.
gamers are such goobrained slophogs they see the only attempt at something good looking in video games in the past 20 years and their mindworms just give up
people really overblowing the UI and Menus issues, this video clears it up.
I swear if shit isn’t written in some big bold font with underlining & red arrows point to everything people just won’t know how to interact with it.
god forbid a video game have a bit of style & sauce
