@Sut_40 Love this story. I also married my wife who had two children that I always consider my own. I would have never had kids except for these two little ones who are now successful, God loving adults. Thanks for posting this story.
@crawlyscubs I worked for the team in the 80’s and got to know Ronnie. There are times he was a pain with his loud “wooos” but he was always a gentleman and someone I considered a friend.
@JunkWaxHero79 There was a photo from the National if a garbage can filled with wrappers and cards. I am sure nobody looked at the base cards but were just looking for the hits in those packs. This photo alone was indicative of the card business these days.
@JunkWaxHero79 It’s a hobby if a person is collecting for the love of it and perhaps makes a few bucks along the way. It’s a business if the sole reason for being in the hobby is ripping packs and looking for the huge hit you can make instant money on.
@GavinNewsom I make less than 50k a year, Just enough to keep me from any kind of assistance programs but not enough to actually live a life, take vacations and save for retiremenThis will law doesn’t effect many hard working Americans like me anyway. Talk to me when someone cares about us.
