Back in my day at school i remember we were asked about this in class once what we thought the correct age should be. Here in the uk the AoC is 16, the answers pupils gave in class ranged from 14 to 16 in general. At that time we were all 14 to 15 and we were becoming sexually active hence why we said such things at the time. Its a tough topic to discuss but i believe 18 in the US is a bit of an outlier compared to most other countries where it is lower, such as France/15 and Germany/14. Maybe this is one thing the uk gets just about right but honestly it is a tough topic and it would be nice if the whole world could just agree on an age and it be set globally.
