I extend my warmest felicitations to Christians in Kwara Central and across Nigeria on the occasion of Easter.
This solemn and significant season calls us to reflect on the enduring virtues of sacrifice, love, and renewal as exemplified by Jesus Christ. It is a time to deepen our commitment to peace, tolerance, and compassion in our interactions with one another, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.
Easter embodies hope and triumph over adversity, an enduring message that resonates strongly as our nation continues its journey toward stability and progress. I am confident that, through unity, faith, and collective resolve, we shall overcome present challenges and build a more prosperous Nigeria.
As always, I remain fully committed to advancing policies and initiatives that promote inclusive growth, sustainable development, and improved living standards for my constituents.
May this Easter usher in renewed hope, enduring peace, and abundant blessings for our nation.

The past few days have been marked by grief and reflection across Nigeria, following the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
In honour of his legacy, I joined the Senate President, H.E. Godswill Akpabio, and my distinguished colleagues on a condolence visit to the family of the late President in Daura, Katsina State.
We also visited the Governor of Katsina State, H.E. Dikko Umar Radda, and the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk, to commiserate with them over this national loss.
May Allah forgive our late President’s shortcomings and grant him Aljannah Firdaus.

In line with my commitment to creating opportunities for our people and promoting growth in Nigeria’s agricultural sector, I recently received some of the newly recruited officers of the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) from Kwara Central Senatorial District.
I congratulated them on this new phase of their careers and encouraged them to serve with diligence, integrity and dedication to national development.
I wish them every success as they begin this important journey in service to our nation.
