i hate jkr and everything she stands for as much as the next person. but there's something icky about implying that mould is the cause of her increasingly erratic behaviour. i feel like it undermines the agency she has in making the decision to act the way she does.

my partner suggested i send my prized teddy bear to a doll doctor to get fixed up. so i did some research and told him it was ridiculous to me to spend over $200 to fix him up when i can do it myself. he told me if i wanted to he'd happily pay for it for my birthday.

i've just watched Thelma (2024) and this might just be the sweetest, most lovingly crafted story about aging wrapped up in an action packed wrapping that i've ever seen and will ever see. i laughed, i cried, and then i absolutely sobbed my heart out during the credits. 10/10
