$ICP Signal ♾🚨
Drew this map months ago. Everything since has just made it more legible.
The vaporware.
The casinos.
The copies.
The banks building what crypto promised.
And the one project that actually shipped the thing everyone else was selling as a PDF.
The map didn't change. The terrain caught up.

@RonDeSantis Governor, why not introduce the exemption as a percentage of the home’s value, virtually eliminating the possibility of nefarious schemes by local officials?
Local governments took in $32 billion in revenue from property taxes in 2019.
Today, that number is $60 billion.
Were services “collapsed” in 2019 when it was $32 billion?
OK, account for population growth and inflation in the ensuing years. Still doesn’t get you anywhere near $60 billion.
There is no “collapse” in public services by phasing in an elimination of homestead property taxes, especially when starting the exemption at $250,000.
@RonDeSantis Governor, why not introduce the exemption as a percentage of the home’s value, virtually eliminating the possibility of nefarious schemes by local officials?
Bezos went on CNBC yesterday and said "You could double the taxes I pay and it's not gonna help that teacher in Queens."
And all the bureaucrats and socialists lost their minds.
Promise the teacher a raise. Tax everyone. Launder the money through Washington. Then blame the billionaire. We aren't morons Ro, we've seen this before.
Bezos said the bottom half of earners should pay zero federal income tax.
A nurse in Queens making $75K hands the IRS $12K a year. He said cut it to zero. She keeps her full paycheck. No bs refund, paperwork or shady government program.
Simple.
They won't do it. And you should ask yourself why.
They don't ACTUALLY want to help anyone. They just want to pretend they tried and get your votes while making you hate the ppl they scammed.
They want the money to flow through Washington, the city, every ponzi department and consultant and charity so each one can wet their beak.
By the time it reaches the teacher it's maybe $100, if that...
And then they'll blame the billionaire who hasn't paid their "fair share." Right Warren???
Lets take a gander at Mamdani's education budget.
NYC spends $42K per student per year, 3x the national average ($15K). Highest in America. Florida pays $9K.
NYC spends more per pupil than most people pay for private school or college. Its frickn insane.
The budget has gone up every year, enrollment has gone down. With all that money only 3 out of 10 kids can read in the 8th grade. Cuba can read better english and they speak spanish lol.
So where is the money going? Def not to teachers. but shh, ro doesn't want you to know that.
A starting teacher in NYC makes $65K. Mamdani's city spends $42K per kid, runs a $40B budget. You could pay every teacher six figures with that money and have 12 kids per a classroom. But thats too logical.
It goes to administrators. Consultants. Overtime. Unions. Friends and family businesses. Pensions for people who left a decade ago. Studies about studies. Buildings that take ten years to renovate. Everyone else but the kids, teachers and actual schools
THERE IS ENOUGH MONEY.
Politicians decide where the money goes. Teachers are underpaid because of how government spends money. Not because Bezos doesn't pay enough.
Then they stand outside a billionaire's apartment with a camera and tell you he's the problem.
That's the SCAM.
Ro Khanna says tax billionaires to fund $60K teacher salaries. NYC already spends enough to fund $100K teacher salaries. The money's there, Ro. Your people are the ones who won't give it to her.
Federal level is the same story. DOE spending up 649% since 2000 and kids aren't any smarter. GAO found $186 billion in improper payments last year. $3 trillion in errors since 2003. It’s criminal.
Stop taxing the nurse. No bureaucracy. Just let the woman keep her full paycheck.
Outrage is deflection.
They'd rather she pay.
Because her keeping her own money doesn't fund the machine and they lose the one thing that keeps the whole racket going: a billionaire to blame.
When Biden was President, our government was releasing anywhere from 50K-80K illegal aliens per month into our country.
Under Trump, that number has now been ZERO for an entire year.
Biden's open borders were a crime against our nation— purposefully done to rob Americans of their birthright, degrade our culture, and give Democrats a new class of voters.
This is what local accountability looks like:
In Festus, Missouri, a town of about 14,000 people, the city council quietly approved a $6 billion Ai data center to be built on 360 acres just north of Highway 67.
Residents say they were never properly heard. Meetings were held in private. Documents were released too late. A week after the approval, the town held a regular election. Voter turnout jumped 129 percent.
Every single council member who had voted yes lost in a landslide. A 70-year-old first-time candidate beat an 8-year incumbent by 40 percentage points.
Now a recall petition is circulating to remove the mayor as well. The lawsuit against the city is already filed.
Has your local government ever been held accountable like this? 🔥
HEY COUNTY ASSESSOR — THIS ONE’S FOR YOU.
Let’s call this what it is.
I’m being taxed on money I never made.
Think about that.
I bought my property in 2012 for $60,000.
Now the county claims it’s worth $306,000.
Did I sell it? No.
Did I realize a profit? No.
Did I receive a $306,000 check? Not even close.
But my tax bill? That went up like I did.
That’s the problem.
This isn’t income.
This isn’t cash.
This is a number someone wrote down on paper — and now I’m expected to pay real money because of it.
If my stock portfolio doubles, I don’t owe taxes until I sell.
If my paycheck doesn’t increase, I don’t suddenly owe more income tax.
So why is housing treated differently?
Why am I being taxed on unrealized gains?
A home isn’t just an asset on a spreadsheet — it’s where people live. And under this system, you can do everything “right,” pay off your house, and still get squeezed harder every year based on a theoretical value you never turned into cash.
That’s not ownership. That’s renting from the government with extra steps.
And spare me the talking points about “services” and “inflation.”
This is about being billed for value you never received.
People are waking up to it.

David Sacks: Nonprofits need to manufacture problems in America to stay in business
David Sacks:
“Here's the systemic problem with nonprofits and NGOs.
Let me just contrast it with business.
In business, you set up a company, the company has to make revenue, it has to make profits.
And if it doesn't, it's going to go out of business, right? Because it'll lose money.
So there's a feedback mechanism from the market.
With an NGO, nonprofit, what have you, they raise money. They don't sell things.
They fundraise from donors in order to engage in an activity, but what happens over time is the actual activities may stop mattering, and all that really matters is they're able to keep fundraising, right?
Because they're just trying to figure out a justification to keep going back to donors to get more and more money out of them.
That's what perpetuates the organization.”
Chamath:
“ Why wouldn't the Southern Poverty Law Center focus on southern poverty? Which is an issue that actually still exists in some shape or form.
Why do you call it one thing, focus on racism, and then all of a sudden whip up fake racism?”
Sacks:
“I do think that at one time in this country, civil rights was a noble cause, a very legitimate cause.
We had the legacy of segregation and Jim Crow, and there were groups that were set up to basically change that, and they succeeded.
But again, no one in an NGO or a nonprofit ever declares victory.
When Obama got elected in 2008, regardless of whether you liked Obama or not, or agreed with his politics, I thought that at that point, most people could see that this was not a racist country.
Whatever else you could say, the fact that the highest office in the land was not denied to anybody showed that this country was not holding people back based on their skin color.
And instead of just basically packing up shop and saying, ‘Okay, we've achieved our goal,’ the goalposts all got moved.
Remember, that's when the whole anti-racism thing started, was around Obama's second term.
If they just said at that time, ‘You know what, we're going to move the goalposts from equality of opportunity to equality of results. We're going to basically make everyone equal at the finish line,’ which is to say, identity socialism.
People would've said, ‘Eh, no, we're not on board for that.’
So instead, they created this whole new terminology to justify it.
And it's taken us years to unpack that and realize what's really going on.”
