I'm a Dutch musician, designer, producer, inventor, entrepreneur, director, and artist who creates, writes, records, and publishes songs and instrumentals.
@ElvisCostello High tempo can be useful to express propulsion without aggression. My most recent song is 170 bpm, the tempo stands for a long lasting development described in a few minutes. It’s about moving away from dire circumstances, and it worked.
@RickRubin Because of work in ICT for 26 years my music has no deadlines at all. And indeed, that is why I can keep improving my songs. I never had a hit so I can keep changing the lyrics, which is important when your native language is not English and your songs are.
@RickRubin I've been doing that, but I also made music almost entirely without speakers - very advanced - for 11,5 years due to very hazardous circumstances. As a consequence, I owe 28 low to medium budget guitars. It resulted in over 150 acceptable recordings of mostly own compositions.
@realtruth10k They sold me the wrong driver's license, so I first have to write to the House of Representatives this summer. And then we have to clear out the old box details and go where no man has gone before. But if that is done, why not?
@abmarkman B) Not for settling down but to be able to create music in a conventional way, instead of not using speakers which I've been doing for 11,5 years now. As a consequence, settling down may be inevitable, unless my mindset suffers from it.
