Warning for EV owners! See how @ACKOIndia handles claims. My 2-month-old Tata Punch EV (MH14ND8969) met with an accident. ACKO’s app mislabeled a ₹3.27 Lakh metal EV Powertrain Combo Unit as an "Airbag" just to slap a 50% depreciation penalty on me!🧵👇@duavarun@TeamBHPforum
WARNING to all EV buyers: Think twice before buying a @Tataev 🚨
My 2-month-old Tata Punch EV had a minor accident on May 21st. It has now been stranded at the Tata bodyshop for OVER A MONTH because basic components simply aren't available. Still NO delivery timeline.
A minor bump shouldn't turn into a 2-month logistical nightmare. Tata is pushing EVs rapidly but their spare parts supply chain is utterly broken. If you buy one, be prepared to walk for months.

Total silence today. Thankfully, the Tata workshop values safety and has started the repairs, but ACKO is still dragging its feet on fixing the dashboard approval to 0% depreciation as legally required for a 2-month-old car. Why the radio silence, @ACKOIndia ?
@ACKOIndia has officially breached their promised 24-hour resolution timeline. Yesterday, their Grievance Desk promised a "detailed update within 1 day" regarding my Front Seat Assembly & Silicon Sensors claim
UPDATE: ACKO’s Grievance Redressal Team just called and emailed. They are officially reviewing the Tata workshop safety recommendation for the full Front Seat Assembly. They have promised a detailed update within 24 hours Holding the line for 0% depreciation on structural safety.
@Shaggy7979@Telugu_EV_Guy@EVDecodeX Following that exact roadmap. Waiting on ACKO's Chief Grievance Officer from @ACKOIndia to provide their formal stance by tomorrow. If they don't fix the 0% depreciation on the full Seat Assy, taking the official paper trail straight to the Ombudsman.
@tushv24@Tataev@TataMotors_Cars True, but insurers are exploiting EV users. ACKO misclassified my Punch.ev's ₹3.27L powertrain as an airbag to charge 50% depreciation. Now they're denying a full Seat Assy replacement after an airbag blowout, forcing an unsafe patchwork repair. Pls check/amplify my pinned tweet
@evelectree@ACKOIndia@duavarun@TeamBHPforum But they're still pinching pennies—denying a full Front Seat Assy after an airbag blowout & pushing an unsafe patchwork cushion repair against Tata’s mandate.
@evelectree@ACKOIndia@duavarun@TeamBHPforum Partial win! After escalating, ACKO admitted their app misclassified the ₹3.27L EV Powertrain Unit as an "airbag" & fixed it to 0% depreciation.
