BREAKING | Hundreds of international students and supporters are demonstrating in Mississauga today. They are protesting deportation orders levelled against students that were unknowing victims of bogus acceptance letters from their immigration consultant in India.

A @CPC_HQ motion, at the federal government's immigration committee, to temporarily suspend the deportations until claims are fully investigated was delayed by the committee in a 6-5 vote.

@liberal_party and @NDP MPs on the committee stopped the Conservative motion, causing even greater uproar from international students and activists alike.
