@Fang9Eagle@EddyFurniss I’m well aware of what happened, though I should have been more specific. Spring sport athletes from the class of 2020 didn’t get any relief outside of a few schools who didn’t compete. The blanket wavers only applied to fall/winter sports from the 2020/2021 school year.
@oneearopen@TexAg420@11point7 The vast majority of D1 schools are not funded anywhere near the full 34 scholarships allowed today. In fact many lower/mid programs are pathetically still under the former 11.7.

I imagine most won’t be funded at 35, but any increase from 11.7 to stay competitive will increase costs beyond what they are today in a sport that is not a revenue generator for the vast majority.
