@zaxour The auction didn't really say what version it was. Just a reminder, the max quality I can do right now is svideo, but I'm still considering the 3BP just for a better composite. Everyone says the model 1's tend to be better composite even without mods, though.

@zaxour Since I've only recently discovered you and your work, I was just wondering if you've ever looked into the Sega Genesis for possibly fixing the jail bar issues. I have a model 2 with the Samsung IC, so I know I can't do svideo with it, but it would be cool to fix it.

@zaxour Honestly I trust you on your word at this point. If you tell me it's noticeably better, I'll buy it today. If you're just kinda "ehhh....." about it, I'll wait for a model 1.

@zaxour Text is a problem right now with the Samsung IC and composite. How does text look with the 3BP through composite? I couldn't really tell looking at those examples on mobile right now. I kinda want to try the model 2 3BP first and get the model 1 later if it's still bad.

@zaxour Maybe I'll go this route, then. I'd even be ok with a cleaner composite signal if it looks way better through the 3BP on the model 2.
