@keikyu_kamata @kanayan2929 This game is a mystery to me. I own a HyperDuel and knew Technosoft made PCBs. There's no documentation of what hardware BlastWind worked on. It would be amazing to get some detail on what happened to the data from this release or how it ran at game centers.

@blast68k @Siefe When I was looking for a home at the launch of the Pandemic, I found this place. The previous owner left the Old-Style lamps. He hosted regular parties in this room. I had to continue the trend. We host some great fight nights & new years in here. Wood burning fireplace too!

@Makube0079 Be careful with burning the PROMs. They are incredibly hard to source, and I went through many fake, and bad burn chips until it worked. Don't be discouraged. Im sure in Japan there might be more of a better source for chips compared to the USA.

Locating the correct PROMs, sorting bootleg chips & burning countless EPROMS, we FINALLY completed the "Rolling Thunder" to "SkyKid DX" #Namco System86 conversion. This is a rare #Arcade version of SkyKid that utilizes FM sound hardware with additional game features. We are pleased to add it to the #PANDEMiCADE archive.

@TeknoParrotEmu I triple this suggestion. This game has some deep scoring mechanics. It's approachable for all shmuppers. Years to master. Plus it's just bad ass.

@akio_1963 It's stories like this that display the talent of artists doing a lot with little power. Compared to today's AAA titles, Metal Slug has become timeless due to these efforts. It's nice the game series is getting the exposure today it deserves.
