@JPSlimeoriginal @TheLaurenChen "Japanese" could refer to ethnicity, nationality (which is a legal thing), or culture. The most important thing is culture which is mainly about where you were raised. It's not just "are you Japanese or not," there are many dimensions. Ethnicity is not irrelevant. Diseases+earwax

Some people will forever continue to ask you if you prefer bread over rice, be surprised when you're good at chopsticks or kanji etc.
