There are so many lessons in this finding that young wealthy people prefer crypto:

1. Crypto is here to stay. These young people today will be the decision makers of tomorrow.

2. Any political efforts to "eradicate crypto" are miscalculated and anachronistic. Crypto (aka Byzantine Fault Tolerant systems) is simply the next step in the evolution from mainframes to client-server systems of the dotcom era to the current BFT era.

3. Crypto is genuinely superior compared to other asset types. Crypto is born digital, can be sent directly in a digital medium and users can self-custody. It is inherently more fair and efficient.

That is not to say that there aren't bad assets in crypto -- there are plenty -- but the tech is just built different and the savvy people are aware of that.

In the long term, the fact that crypto will replace all financial rails should be apparent to everyone by now.
